Appointment of New Stewards at the SEC

June 2007: In recent weeks, Chapter 293 leadership has grown stronger through the addition of the following new stewards: Danny Gay (OFM); Lisa Ivory (Enforcement); Fred Haberfeld (NYRO); Cory Kirchert (Enforcement); Betty Perry (OAS); Azam Riaz (NYRO); Belinda Rodriguez (NYRO); Dean Suehiro (Corporation Finance); John Sweeney (OCIE); and Luis Toledo (OIT).

NTEU stewards are employees who volunteer their time and energy to represent your interests at the SEC. They are the face of our union and perform numerous important functions on your behalf, including providing information and assistance to employees, gathering information from employees to assist the union in its work, enforcing the terms of our Collective Bargaining Agreement with the agency, and representing employees to assist them in resolving disputes.

All of our newly appointed stewards bring their unique backgrounds, experiences and skills to the leadership of your union. Chapter 293 welcomes them as they join our other stewards and Chapter leaders in carrying out the important representational work of NTEU at the SEC. Please join us in congratulating them and wishing them well.
