Chapter 293's Website Draws Increasing Audience

in

Over the past several months, Chapter 293 has continued its work to improve communications with SEC employees, including by expanding upon and improving its website, www.secunion.org. Since the launch of the new website a few months ago, visits by SEC employees have grown steadily, and it now regularly receives thousands of visits each month.

The Chapter’s website is intended to be a one-stop place for SEC employees to obtain important news and information about the NTEU’s work for you at the SEC. The homepage consists of a number of links to recent SEC union news, the latest London’s Calling cartoon, and a link to the last edition of our newsletter, Chapter 293 Works. A navigation bar on the left of the site provides access to a great deal of other information, including: pages containing all previously posted news stories; archives of past editions of the newsletter; directories of chapter stewards and leaders; and contact information. In addition, the “resources” page includes links to the full text of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, legislative updates, FAQs, copies of decisions and other documents, as well as links to numerous sites of interest to federal employees. The site is fully searchable.

Chapter 293 members who have visited the website should feel free to provide comments and suggestions regarding content to Chapter 293 President Greg Gilman, at gilmang@sec.gov.

If you have not already done so, you should join your colleagues who already regularly choose to be informed by checking out www.secunion.org.
