4/16/14: Last week, the union awarded San Francisco Regional Office steward Jeff Lyttle the Excellence in Representation Award. Jeff was honored both for his representation of SFRO employees as well as for his work on issues that were national in scope, including his continuing work on the OCIE union task force.

The awards ceremony took place during the National Treasury Employees Union's National Steward Training Conference. Dozens of SEC stewards, along with stewards from many other federal agencies, attended the conference, where they received training on a wide range of issues, including the new CBA, compensation matters, performance management, representation of employees, litigation updates, etc.

"To receive this award is a great honor and the employees in the SFRO should be very proud to have among them such a talented individual who has volunteered countless hours to make a positive contribution to his fellow employees," Chapter 293 President Greg Gilman said this morning. "I know that I am very proud of my association and work with Jeff. It is important for you to know that Jeff has your back. He deserves to be recognized for his tireless efforts on your behalf."
