Recently, FTC employees overwhelmingly voted for NTEU as their exclusive representative. The election is the culmination of the work of a committed group of employees who want to have a meaningful voice in their working conditions. The FTC employee-led organizing committee, ably assisted by the NTEU Organizing Department, built a groundswell of support for this campaign. NTEU will now represent some 800-plus employees in FTC headquarters and regional offices.
The new chapter will tentatively be placed in District 10, pending final action at the next Convention. The chapter will be represented and supported by the D.C. Field Office.
